The Importance of Being Insulated

I live by the creed Be not weighted down for you never know when a chance to move to (insert dream destination here) might show up. So, I rent. New England. Triple Deckers. Tip O'Neil. The windows are old & drafty. My soap needs a constant degree of insulation to do it's thing. Yesterday the heat went out because the furnace needs a certain level of water & its needs were not being met. I was anxious about the outcome & quality of my most basic commodity, basic soap. It looks good. It smells good. I milled some French Clay bars tonight. I always worry because I never feel the environment is good enough. The outcome overrides any fear I might have.
